The Vac-Alert Model VA-2000L is a Safety Vacuum Release System (SVRS) for suction lift pool and spa circulation systems. It protects suction lines by venting air into the suction line when a hazardous vacuum is detected, and is intended for installations where the pump suction is up to 24 inches below or up to 42 inches above the water surface. The unit uses a small orifice and an internal check valve assembly to reduce nuisance trips and allow limited pump flow while vented, helping prevent pump dry-run conditions.
