Pentair WhisperFlo/IntelliFlo Pump Seal Quick Kit | 356198

The Pentair 356198 is a genuine OEM seal set kit for WhisperFlo and IntelliFlo pool pumps, intended for pump rebuilds and routine maintenance.

The kit gathers the key sealing components that keep water in the pump and sealing surfaces intact: a mechanical shaft seal assembly, a seal plate gasket, a diffuser O-ring, a strainer pot lid O-ring, and multiple drain plug O-rings. Together they help eliminate leaks and restore proper sealing so the pump continues to run efficiently.

Components are made with materials that resist harsh pool conditions, including saltwater systems, ozone sanitation, and chemical exposure, supporting long-lasting seal performance. Because the set is genuine Pentair, fitment is correct throughout the pump's sealing system. The kit suits both variable speed and single speed pump service work.

Pro tip: when servicing a pump, replace all of the seals rather than the shaft seal alone. Fresh gaskets and O-rings prevent repeat leaks and extend pump life.

Installation notes: disconnect power before servicing. Lubricate O-rings with a silicone-based lubricant and avoid petroleum products. Make sure the mechanical seal is seated squarely during installation to prevent premature leakage.
