The 48Y frame motor has a 3-1/2-inch shaft height and counterclockwise rotation at the pump end, compatible with vertical-shaft pump assemblies. Intended for indoor or shaded outdoor pump installations with a 40°C maximum ambient temperature, it mounts using a 48/56 base or through-bolt pattern.
